It’s the end of the month, so time for a favorites post.
I didn’t get around to filming this (not enough alone time) like I did last month (check out my video here). It doesn’t mean I don’t want to try it again, it’s just that it didn’t happen this month.
So here are my favorites for August.
Laino Le Soin Naturel Body scrub: I recently bought this, knowing I’d love it, and it’s even better than I thought it would be. Especially with the hot summer weather, there’s nothing nicer than a lovely gently scrub. A fantastic shower gel/scrub.
OPI Jinx: I had hunted for this nail polish for quite a while, I finally bought it through ebay, and I’m so happy I did! You can read my review here. I’ve worn it 3 times since I bought it, which considering how many different nail polishes I have it a lot. I’ve found that it comes off best the old fashioned way -cotton pad and nail polish remover, rather than my dip & clean remover (I reviewed that in my July Favorites video).
H&M Kabuki: This brush is so soft, so cute and it works really well! I’ve gone for it more often than my Real Techniques buffing brush this month. So I believe that warrants a spot in my August Favorites line up. I wrote a quick review on it here. Pick it up if they sell it at an H&M near you!
Essence Stay with me Longlasting Lipgloss in Candy Bar: I’m so upset they took these out of their lineup! I’m in love with these lipglosses! They stay up so well, leave a wonderful color and they are really nurturing for your lips.
Sephora Long lasting Kohl Pencil in Infinite Beige: A great truly long lasting pencil that makes the inner rim of your eye really pop (wow that sounds kind of gross, but it’s good I swear ).
Philosophy Hope in a Stick Lip Balm: This was the lip balm in the business class care package my dad got on his business trip to the US. I always tell him to bring it back for me, they are so fun! And this package had all Philosophy products in it! And for the first time I remember the lip balm is amazing! I keep this little guy on my night stand. If my lips are feeling a bit dry, I simply pop some of this on and the next day as if by magic they are smooth and soft! This makes me want to try out all the Philosophy products!
Hopefully next month I’ll have the time and courage to do another video.
